“Samantha has been the true definition of determination. She has been an avid runner throughout high school. She ended her Cross Country career with the 5th best time for our team with a time of 21:36 and finished 15th at the District Meet. Track is her specialty specifically excelling at high jump. She had made it to the state track meet every year so far. Her freshmen year she placed 7th, sophmore year 12th and her junior year 3rd. Her sophmore year so broke the school record twice with her highest jump being 5’3″. She also runs 400 meter races. We are hopeful for another trip to state!” Nominated by her Mother, Amanda Lass
