Congratulations to Jack Vonnahme, 8th Grader at Ankeny Southview Middle School, our Nash Athlete of the Week!
“I would like to nominate Jack Vonnahme for the NASH FM athlete of the week. Jack just completed the best individual XC season in Ankeny history. Jack set 5 Southview XC course records this season, he also ran 5 of the 10 fastest times ever run by an Annkeny JH XC runner, including the 4 fastest times ever (record 10:38). Jack set school records for least points scored in a season (14) and fastest average time for a season (11:07). At the recent JH Statewide meet Jack placed 3rd overall out of approximately 900 total runners. Jack is also a model student who currently has all As.
