“Brooklyn swims for southeast polks varsity swim team as a freshman. She is one of the most hard working girls I’ve ever met. She has been swimming since she was very young and continues to grow and get better every year. When’s she’s not swimming for the school she also swims for a club team almost year round. She has gotten many medals and recognitions for how amazing she is. She’s gonna do great things as she continues to swim through the rest of her high school career and I’m so proud of her.” Nominated by her sister, Hannah Elwood
