“Lauren just upset 3 time state Champ on her way to winning the 2A 110lb state girls wrestling title. This win will go down as one of the biggest upsets in girls state wresting history. Lauren is a 3 time state qualifier. She wrestles for Ankeny Girls Wrestling but attends Bondurant. Not only is she an outstanding wrestler she’s a great person off the mat as well and can be a role model for all young girls who want to wrestle.” Nominated by her neighbor, Brad Hamilton
