Congratulations to Luella Weispfenning, Senior at Saydel High School, our Nash Athlete of the Week!
“I know bball has been over for a few weeks, but as we capped our bball season, I feel Luella is deserving of a nomination. Luella was our senior captain this season. She earned 2nd team all conference honors this season, as well as academic all conference. She was voted team MVP for her efforts. She made a huge jump her senior season. She doubled her points from 6.5 ppg to 13, same with her rebounds going from 5.5 to 11.5! She also had 65 total blocked shots up from 4 last year. Her biggest jump was in FT% where she went from 38% as a soph to 55% as a jr to 70% as a sr!” Nominated by her coach, Steve Glenn
