
Congratulations to Karagyn Whelchel, Senior at Perry High School, our Nash Athlete of the Week!
“Karagyn has excelled in sports at a young age. At 10 she was playing 14u club softball. She has recently committed to play in college. She is the definition of a utility player able to play any position on the field. She is a four sport varsity athlete breaking the serving record in volleyball with a 99%, getting 1st in her first golf meet of the year, hitting 500 points in basketball as the PHS varsity point guard for 2 years (shoulder surgery took her out her freshman year), 5 year varsity starter for softball. Countless all conference awards.She also takes DMACC classes and has a 4.0 GPA” Nominated by her Mom, Janelle Whelchel Spitler
