Congratulations to Mya Streck, 7th Grader at Van Meter Middle School, our Nash Athlete of the Week!
“I would like to nominate my daughter Mya Streck for athlete of the week. She is a 7th grader at Van Meter Schools and just finished her first year of Cross Country. She just finished her season Wednesday at the Conference meet and won. She led her team all year and won 5 of the 7 meets they ran in. I want to nominate her not just for her accomplishments on the course this year but for being such a great teammate. I’ve enjoyed watching her run this season but even more watching her cheer on and encouraging all her teammates on the girls and boys teams.” Nominated by her Dad, Joe Streck
